The Bachelor of Arts with a Comprehensive Major in Interdisciplinary Studies is designed for motivated adult learners seeking broader degree competencies than fulfilled by one of CSC’s more traditional undergraduate degree programs. Working with an academic advisor, students are able to integrate knowledge from multiple disciplines and develop an individualized plan of study that provides a coherent, goal-oriented, and academically sound knowledge base related to the student’s career path. Interdisciplinary degree-seeking students often have credits earned at other institutions. In most cases, those credit hours can be transferred to CSC to contribute to degree completion at CSC.

Following an approved curriculum, the student completes an individualized educational experience intended to provide a coherent, goal-oriented, academically sound knowledge base that is directly relevant to the intellectual development and career path of the student.
